The Fairchild Metro and Merlin offer unmatched capabilities in making money for the regional airline operator. The Fairchild Metro was designed by Ed Swearingen in the early 1970s. Nearly 900 of all series were built at the San Antonio, Texas factory before the collapse in mid-2002 of Fairchild Aerospace, as a result of a failed regional jet program. Designated the SA-226, SA-227 or SWM, the aircraft is still referred to as the Swearingen Metro in many aviation circles. The aircraft remains in service with regional airlines, package express operators, governments, and corporations around the world. CRI Leasing will be pleased to analyze which model of Metro aircraft is best suited to your needs. Economical to operate, a previously owned Metro or Merlin is affordable to purchase and easier to finance than comparable aircraft. Subject to credit approval, CRI Leasing can arrange a customized lease package for established regional airline or air taxi operators worldwide. Aircraft Configurations
